Established in 1983

Turenne Auto Body has been a trusted name in auto body and collision repair in Thorp, WI, since 1983. However, our journey began years earlier with a simple request to paint a piece of farm equipment.

In 1978, while working at Juzwiak Implement and R.P.M. Gas Station, a young gas station attendant was given an old flail chopper to paint. With no experience but a willingness to learn, he sought guidance from Don Danielewicz at Don’s Body Shop. That moment sparked a passion for auto body work, leading to painting tractors, farm equipment, trucks, and, eventually, cars. After high school, this passion turned into a career through training at District One Technical Institute in Eau Claire.

Starting small in a shed at his parent's residence, our founder’s dedication to quality and precision in auto body repair quickly gained recognition, paving the way for Turenne Auto Body’s official establishment in 1983.

Growth and Expansion of Turenne Auto Body

Turenne Auto Body started in a small building with four bays and just one employee. As our reputation grew, so did the demand for our services. By 1994, we began construction on our current facility, officially opening our doors in 1995. To continue serving our customers efficiently, we expanded again in 2024, adding 2,000 square feet, making us the largest collision repair facility in the area with eight bays and an ever-growing team of talented professionals.
