Turenne Auto Body has been a trusted name in auto body and collision repair in Thorp, WI, since 1983. However, our journey began years earlier with a simple request to paint a piece of farm equipment.

In 1978, while working at Juzwiak Implement and R.P.M. Gas Station, a young gas station attendant was given an old flail chopper to paint. With no experience but a willingness to learn, he sought guidance from Don Danielewicz at Don’s Body Shop. That moment sparked a passion for auto body work, leading to painting tractors, farm equipment, trucks, and, eventually, cars. After high school, this passion turned into a career through training at District One Technical Institute in Eau Claire.

Starting small in a shed at his parent's residence, our founder’s dedication to quality and precision in auto body repair quickly gained recognition, paving the way for Turenne Auto Body’s official establishment in 1983.
